Exactly five years ago today Brian, my mom and I spent hours walking around the mall and several other stores trying to get our first child to make her appearance in this world.
I had went home from work early the day before because I was having contractions and they kept coming and coming and I thought THIS IS IT! Obviously Lauren had her own plan. At around 11:30 that night they stopped. Completely stopped. I thought walking might get things going again however Wednesday came and went and no baby. She decided she wanted to stay on the inside for a few more days.
For the past five years she has brought us so much joy and challenged me in ways I never could have imagined. One of my favorite things about watching her grow is seeing her vocabulary and communication skills develop.
So in honor of her upcoming birthday, I bring to you another installment of Lauren-isms.
Grandma look at my huge wedgie!!

I'm gonna live with you forever...when I'm 20.
