Playing Catch Up

I told myself that I was going to get back into my lovely blogging habit after Christmas.  That I was going to take time out for myself and read blogs and do more posts because I like to and yeah well that hasn't happened for a number of reasons.

1. I can't blog at work anymore.  I wasn't really supposed to in the first place but they are really starting to crack down on it so I am TRYING my best to limiting myself.  Well that doesn't give me much time in the evening well with fixing dinner and getting Lauren bathed and put to bed and then my husband requires attention too and he hates it when I spend alot of time on the computer.

2. I have been crazy tired lately.  I am more tired now than I was at the beginning of the pregnancy.  All things are well on that front.  Had an appointment last week and the baby is growing on track and has a good strong heartbeat.  I am starting to feel more movement each and everyday!  I love that feeling.

3. Lauren's birthday is on the 25th and I am frantically planning her party which will be on the 23rd.  The invitations turned out so cute and I will have a picture of them up later on this week.

4. I need to finish editing pictures that I took last month.  I just have no motivation and I am sure the wonderful bride is anxiously awaiting them.  :)  My goal is to get them done this week so I can devote all of next week soley to getting Lauren's party planned and set to go.

5. I have also been trying to read a little bit at night.  Part of my goals for this year.  I am almost halfway through Lovely Bones.

Life seems so hectic right now and it drives me nuts.  I feel like I am being pulled at every end.  I just need to learn to say no to people when they ask me to do stuff.  :)

We all know where you are coming from. It is hard to find time. The only reason I get as much computer time as I do is because the hubby is watching basketball right now. Glad to hear that the pregnancy is going well. How many weeks are you now? I bet Lauren is so excited about her birthday, can't wait to see her invitation!

I feel your pain! I am struggling with #1 too, it really puts a damper, doesn't it?!

I stopped making "goals" to blog more and just blog now when I have the time and it feels meaningful. So much less pressure!

Glad to hear everything is going well with baby #2! :)

Life gets busy, it's okay. Take your time, get organized and we will be here when you get back.

My name is Sonya and I am married to a wonderful man who is truly my best friend. I am the proud mommy of Lauren and our newest addition Colton! I love to cook, bake, read, scrapbook and I am a photography enthusiast. I also love to be around my large extended family. I have 4 nieces and 5 nephews.

Brian, is my wonderful loving husband. My best friend and the father of my children. He loves being a daddy, boxing, Muay Thai and working out.

Lauren is our 4 year old daughter. She loves her Daddy, running and being outside. She also is a big fan of "neighs" (horses). She amazes me everyday at all the new words that she can say and the new things she is learning. It blows my mind the things that she comes up with. She is such a great kid!

Colton, AKA, Little Man, is our newest addition to the family. He has brought us so much joy. Right now he loves to eat, sleep and is learning to walk. Colton was diagnosed with hip dysplasia at 6 weeks old and has been wearing a Pavlik Harness since 7 weeks. He wore the harness full time for 8 weeks and then part time for 6 weeks for a total of 14 weeks. Having hip dysplasia hasn't slowed him down one bit. He can crawl and has recently started walking
