Whatever your doing

Stop! Collaborate and Listen...... I feel like I have been missing for a while. I haven't been keeping up on blogging because I have been so busy with editing pictures from all of my photo shoots! WOOT WOOT!!! How exciting. I have another this afternoon. A maternity shoot. I just love pregnant bellies. Then this weekend I have a family shoot for a friend of mine.

Plus I have had a lot of things on my mind lately. Trying to sort out all the stuff that happened with Lauren's day care and my emotions that go along with that. I am going to let you all in on a little secret......I hate taking Lauren to daycare every day. Some days I even cry. I know she likes it there and the social interaction is good for her. BUT I would love to be a stay at home mommy and when all the stuff was said I may have taken it a little personally and I may have blamed myself for all of it. OK I will admit it I did…..I know that it is unreasonable as Lauren has a mind of her own but I just feel that if I were at home with her more then she wouldn't act like this.

I really really really badly want to lose some weight but I have no motivation whatsoever to do so. I choose to eat bad foods and drink soda {although I have cut back on that} I hate exercise and have no willpower to make myself do it. I am unhappy with my weight, with the way that I look and Brian and I would like to have another baby and I am so afraid that my weight will hurt our chances. I am heavier now than I ever have been, with the exception of when I was pregnant with Lauren. I am over 30 pounds heavier than when I got pregnant with her. What is it going to take to motivate me? I thought my brother’s wedding would help but I procrastinated and actually gained weight. I was then in a mad dash the last couple of weeks to drop a few pounds, and I did, but I am pretty sure I gained those back. What works for you? What motivates you?

Oh yeah, I almost forgot.
Brian's car was on the fritz last week.  Cost us close to $200 to fix it.  Thank goodness that was all.  Yesterday as I was driving to work a rock flew up and hit my windshield causing it to crack a bit.

{who can tell me what song I started at the very beginning of this post?}

I know all too well the struggle with weight. I've lots a ton lately, but I still have some more to go! My advice is to just not buy anything bad for you. If you don't have it, you can't eat it. We went for like two months without any sugar because I refused to buy any. If I'd had sugar, I would have made cookies and tea and stuff, but without it, we drank only water. I don't ever buy sweets, and that's not because we don't like them. We, well, I TOTALLY LIVE SWEETS!!! I sometimes get one little thing the day I go to town to satisfy my sweet tooth for a little longer, but not a box of cookies or anything.

Hope you're able to meet all your goals!

It is awesome about all you photo shoots! I can't wait to see more pictures.

Don't take the Lauren thing personal, I know it's hard but it's not your fault. You are such a great mommy and she is just a little kid! Things will work out!! :)

I hear you on the losing weight thing. The thing that seems to work for me is changing everything! I seem to eat better when I work out and I work out more when I eat healthy and you have to stay happy and positive too! :) It is SO not easy but I really think there is something behind the "you truly have to want to change" thing. I wish we lived closer I would LOVE a workout buddy, it helps a lot having someone doing it with you! :) Good luck darling, and don't stress out too much about it!

Ice Ice Baby!! :)

Finding motivation to lose weight is so difficult. You should ask some of your friends if they're in the same boat and work toward your goals together.

I started the Couch to 5K with family and friends because it's so much easier to stay motivated when you have people to hold you accountable and show support. There are also lots of message boards for the Couch to 5K where people offer each other support.

A little Vanilla Ice Baby. I got to meet him once. I won a contest at the radio station to have lunch with him. The only thing he said was "Word to your mother". I am not kidding!!
I love to watch the Biggest Loser for my motivation. Those people amaze me. I understand all about no motivation though. Just try a little at a time.
As far as your kiddo goes, she is a kid. Don't beat yourself up!!

My name is Sonya and I am married to a wonderful man who is truly my best friend. I am the proud mommy of Lauren and our newest addition Colton! I love to cook, bake, read, scrapbook and I am a photography enthusiast. I also love to be around my large extended family. I have 4 nieces and 5 nephews.

Brian, is my wonderful loving husband. My best friend and the father of my children. He loves being a daddy, boxing, Muay Thai and working out.

Lauren is our 4 year old daughter. She loves her Daddy, running and being outside. She also is a big fan of "neighs" (horses). She amazes me everyday at all the new words that she can say and the new things she is learning. It blows my mind the things that she comes up with. She is such a great kid!

Colton, AKA, Little Man, is our newest addition to the family. He has brought us so much joy. Right now he loves to eat, sleep and is learning to walk. Colton was diagnosed with hip dysplasia at 6 weeks old and has been wearing a Pavlik Harness since 7 weeks. He wore the harness full time for 8 weeks and then part time for 6 weeks for a total of 14 weeks. Having hip dysplasia hasn't slowed him down one bit. He can crawl and has recently started walking
