Not Me! Monday

Welcome to Not Me! Monday! This blog carnival was created by MckMama. You can head over to her blog to read what she and everyone else have not been doing this week.

It is quite refreshing for me to admit that I am not super mom, while still hiding a little bit behind the guise of Not Me!

While out at the speedway for the races a couple of weekends ago Mollie and I did not decide that we wanted to go shopping in the midst of all the craziness and traffic. We were not driving back and stuck at a stop light. I did not listen to Mollie when she told me to just go through the yellow light only to not get yelled at by the cop that was controlling the light!! I was not in my dad's big suburban and the backend was not partially blocking traffic. People could still get around I don't see what the big deal was. But the cop did not yell at us and give me a few gestures that he probably shouldn't have and then he did not make me pull aruond. So I did not pull around and then do an illegal u-turn right in front of the cop!! :)  That would be totally wrong and I probably really deserved a ticket.

Last week I did not leave a sippy cup with milk in my car for....well it had not been there for probably a week.  Brian did not get into the car accidentally step on it and leak nasty horrible milk all over my car.  There really wasn't that much of it but spoiled milk DOES NOT smell good in any way shape or form.  So the next day when I got into my car to go to work it did not still smell.  When I got to work I did not leave my windows cracked despite the rain and then get into my car after work all confused that the seats were wet!!  Oh yeah that's right I was not trying to get the nasty spoiled milk smell out of my car.  But hey it did not work.  LUCKILY no more nasty milk smell.

Too funny!

If anything like the milk situation happens again, just put a bout a cup of unused coffee grains in a container and leave it in your car, but be sure to put a lid on it or something while you're moving! The coffee will absorb the smell.

But don't try to serve the coffee to your husband. I'm pretty sure he won't like it! Ha!

Spoiled milk really is the worst smell ever. I definitely would not know that personally.

Ugh, spoiled milk is awful! I have left sippy cups in the car and forgot about them and instead of even opening them to wash it I just threw it away knowing how horrible it was going to be! :)

My name is Sonya and I am married to a wonderful man who is truly my best friend. I am the proud mommy of Lauren and our newest addition Colton! I love to cook, bake, read, scrapbook and I am a photography enthusiast. I also love to be around my large extended family. I have 4 nieces and 5 nephews.

Brian, is my wonderful loving husband. My best friend and the father of my children. He loves being a daddy, boxing, Muay Thai and working out.

Lauren is our 4 year old daughter. She loves her Daddy, running and being outside. She also is a big fan of "neighs" (horses). She amazes me everyday at all the new words that she can say and the new things she is learning. It blows my mind the things that she comes up with. She is such a great kid!

Colton, AKA, Little Man, is our newest addition to the family. He has brought us so much joy. Right now he loves to eat, sleep and is learning to walk. Colton was diagnosed with hip dysplasia at 6 weeks old and has been wearing a Pavlik Harness since 7 weeks. He wore the harness full time for 8 weeks and then part time for 6 weeks for a total of 14 weeks. Having hip dysplasia hasn't slowed him down one bit. He can crawl and has recently started walking
