Mollie's Bridal Shower

So the shower is done and it went great! Lots of people showed up, we had good food, fun games and I enjoyed myself and I think everyone else did too.

This is a picture of the blushing bride. Isn't she beautiful!

Mollie and the cake. It was so pretty and SO yummy! I love cake.

This is a shot of the table we set the food and drinks up on. We had a nice spread. Chicken Kabobs, Blue Cheese Potato Salad, Tastefully Simple Beer Bread, Spinach and Herb Dip, Cherry Limeade Punch and of course the cake!

Here is a shot of the punch. This was absoulutely delicious! If you like Cherry Limeades from Sonic, you will love this stuff!

A nice shot of the kabobs, courtesy of my husband. Good thing I am married to a professional meat man!! He knocked these things out in less than an hour (not including grilling time)

We played a game involving underwear! When I sent out the invitations I included this
We will be playing a fun game with Mollie. Please purchase a new pair underwear that reflect YOUR personality, in Mollie’s size M (medium), and bring them to the shower. Please bring these panties in a bag so no one will see them ahead of time.
When people showed up to the shower I took their panties from them and I hung them up on a line. The purpose of the game was to see if Mollie could guess who brought what pair and then she gets to keep them all in the end. We had some pretty funny pairs of undies!!
Mollie is such a jokester!!

Here is Lauren. She was so good during the shower. She had fun running around playing with her cousins. She also told Daddy that she had to pee pee and she held it until we were able to get inside to the potty!!! I was so proud of her!!!!!!

This little cutie is Kate, she is one of the flower girls. Mollie used to be her nanny.

This is my step mom, Karen, she was nice enough to let us use the garage and she helped with the decorating and the food.

This lovely lady is my grandmother, my dad's mom.

This is my favorite Aunt Karen! She is my dad's sister in law and is so special to me. She always gives me the greatest big hugs!! Her daughter is Brianna and was adopted from Guatemala. She also has a son who is my age.

Daddy and his baby girl. He showed up at the end of the shower and Lauren went ballistic. You would have thought she hadn't seen him in days!! She was very excited to see her Daddy and barely would let him sit and eat.

I thought I should make an appearance on my blog! This is Mollie and I. I am so glad that my brother has found someone who makes him happy. But the best part is that her and I get along. :) We have become really good friends over the past year and I am really looking forward to watching her and my brother live out their life together.

This is Mollie and the girls. From left to right, Abby, Kate, Libby and Anna and Mollie is holding Lauren. Abby, Anna and Kate are sisters and they are the girls that Mollie nannied for, for the past year. Their father is from Australia and Mollie even got to go with them on their trip to visit his family last December! Cute little Libby is Mollie's niece. She is such a sweethart and loves Lauren to death!!

This is Mollie and one of her sisters, Angie (Libby's Mommy) and her mom Pam.

Mollie, her mom and Libby.

This is my mom with Lauren. Lauren loves her mamaw so much!

My name is Sonya and I am married to a wonderful man who is truly my best friend. I am the proud mommy of Lauren and our newest addition Colton! I love to cook, bake, read, scrapbook and I am a photography enthusiast. I also love to be around my large extended family. I have 4 nieces and 5 nephews.

Brian, is my wonderful loving husband. My best friend and the father of my children. He loves being a daddy, boxing, Muay Thai and working out.

Lauren is our 4 year old daughter. She loves her Daddy, running and being outside. She also is a big fan of "neighs" (horses). She amazes me everyday at all the new words that she can say and the new things she is learning. It blows my mind the things that she comes up with. She is such a great kid!

Colton, AKA, Little Man, is our newest addition to the family. He has brought us so much joy. Right now he loves to eat, sleep and is learning to walk. Colton was diagnosed with hip dysplasia at 6 weeks old and has been wearing a Pavlik Harness since 7 weeks. He wore the harness full time for 8 weeks and then part time for 6 weeks for a total of 14 weeks. Having hip dysplasia hasn't slowed him down one bit. He can crawl and has recently started walking
